My one main problem with the "veg" movement (besides the fact that I

Judge outcomes not statements...

This creature is no more libertarian than Scott Arthur is. Maybe he forgot
the pledge he signed about not initiating the use of force?

Maybe you should note the lack of capitalization in the word libertarian.  As
there is wide variety within the LP, there is even wider variety in the stances
of those who could reasonably call themselves 'libertarian.'  Thomas Jefferson
approved of the initiation of force against his monarch...was he not
libertarian?

I don't know McVeigh's politics at all.  But I think that it might be
reasonable for a mad bomber to call himself libertarian.  If he is generally
aligned with the libertarian ideals, but felt that some guilty were going
unpunished -- and took care of rectifiying it, then I would call him a
libertarian on the anarchic edge of the libertarian movement.

I guess the reason you posted that note is to seperate yourself from the
villain.  You need not.  It is enough that you wouldn't have bombed that
building.  It does not hurt you for him to have many similar beliefs.  If you
know from other things that he is not libertarian, then maybe.  But based on
that one thing, it seems too steep to push him out of the libertarian umbrella.

my $.02,

Chris
