  Re: George Lucas: Galactic gasbag

(...) AND all the articles it references. All thought provoking. Thought the David Brin one was especially good as it got to the heart of something that's bothered me about SW (and something I'd liked about ST, imperfect as ST was) all along. (...)   George Lucas: Galactic gasbag

I just found this article, which says exactly what I've wanted to investigate for a long time: Lucas is making up all this stuff about his influences (Joseph Campbell and all) in order to avoid being associated with the sci-fi authors he stole it (...)   Re: Peace in the Mid-East?

(...) (Given that this thread-let was about Ms Charen's integrity, I’m bemused that you are using her to justify your argument(!). Have we went full circle?)   Re: A bad taste picture (Re: Space Rocks!!!)

(...) Again, I'm sorry you felt the need to bring it up in here. I'm sorry that when you mentioned Classic Castle I mentioned Classic Space. It was rather mean of me to attempt a humorous jibe/pun. My bad. (...) I'm sorry that jokingly I've said (...) (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
