  Test I guess

Everybody loves testing (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.test)

Re: Target Exclusive Trains On Clearance

(...) Actually the three examples of the plural form given in my OED are all "cabooses". However, recalling the other times this subject has come up here, and considering the identities of those who use the less common form, I have concluded that (...)   Inverse sine function in Excel?

As I've previously (and repeatedly) confessed, my knowledge of math is sketchy and, shall we say, somewhat organic. I have almost no recollection of many of the processes I briefly used fifteen years ago and not at all since. Well, until now. Using (...) (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Dragons Promo?

(...) That sounds pretty cool--how did you receive it? I haven't had postal contact with Ritvik in several years, and at that time their customer service department was somewhat underdeveloped. If memory serves, I asked for a current catalog, and (...) (22 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Dragons Promo?

Has anyone else received a Dragon's promo envelope? I got one this week that is comprised of a slightly undersized heavy stock and full color printed envelope, one of those approx. 5.5" x 5.5" current catalogues, a folded sheet showing all of the (...)   Compassion in Action

So here I am, reading CNN at work, and it hits me--the pic of Dubya 'blasting' Lott, has a 'Compassion in Action' marquee behind him (the marquee may say more but that's what I read) Dubya is not even close to compassionate and his system of (...)   Re: Help John find his mojo-logo

(...) Oh, I like that image! I see what you mean; looks like print from a Greek or Hebrew Bible. Perhaps I should add a "<><" after my name as well.... (...) "too" Apple?   Re: IGNORANT views fuel oppression?

(...) Well, here we are, sitting at 171 posts in this thread. I'll be the first to note that not all 171 posts directly relate to the P/I issue, but 171 posts... How would you sum up the current state of the P/I debate here in OT-D, where the sides (...) (22 years ago, 12-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: IGNORANT views fuel oppression?

(...) I don't agree with that overview. (...) David, I have no problem with people ignoring me, or even users urging others to ignore me. However, I suggest you think wider than the Israel thing. Take a closer look at what is causing the "fuss" (...) (22 years ago, 12-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: IGNORANT views fuel oppression?

(...) If the sides of an issue get so polarized (there, I got to use it!) that all there is left is "I'm right, you're wrong!" "No, I'm right and you're wrong!", there is nothing left but to end the thread. I think it's a far better solution to end (...) (22 years ago, 12-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Aldous Huxley: "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." I do not need people to reply to my posts to make a point.   Re: Help John find his mojo-logo

(...) I've used that on and off for some time now. I guess I've been more religious in using it of late. Actually, I'd like the Dave! better if it could be italicized - a Tolkienian word of power!
