  test

Just seeing if i can finally post after two weeks of trying to get on the list :D (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.test)

Re: Cool looking clone on Ebay

(...) I don't have a lot of experience with Lego clones, but what you've shown here is pretty interesting, especially for us military builders. Modern Armor isn't my forte, but that appears to be a Type 88 K1A1 South Korean MBT and it seems that the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The Suicide King

(...) What the...? The Dagger angle is correct, the whole arm is off. The absence of the heart in the corners is surely a design choice, one that one can choose to follow or not. I think I have seen cards without it. But yeah, it is common. Now I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Cyber Kids 2002

(...) Yeah, that's one of the central points for me. I'm trying to find an analogy, like the removal of an ugly but non-harmful wart, or perhaps the erasure of an unsightly (and potentially stigmatizing) birthmark, but neither of these is quite (...)   Re: The Suicide King

(...) Nicely Done. Let's see how many I get... 1) The sword angle is wrong... 2) You are missing the Heart from the upper left and lower right of the inside part 3) the pattern of the back should be solid white 4) the cloak should be held in the (...)   Re: Guns! (was: Thoughts on Community & Censorship (Was: Re: Brickshelf censorship policy rules.....))

(...) I would think that if the parents were doing their job, it would be quite the opposite. By doing their job, I mean being responsible. If you have a gun in your home, it is your responsibility as a parent to educate your children in its proper (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Thoughts on Community & Censorship (Was: Re: Brickshelf censorship policy rules.....)

(...) "Want it to be" or "Make it be", I think this may be semantics. Either way, my point is that this is an established (yet evolving) community that currently accepts among its members both people who may dislike certain content and those who may (...)   Re: Cool looking clone on Ebay

(...) Hey, I won one! (URL) And now I call upon the assembled expertise of my fellow clone-fans (as well as you military gurus among us). Could you folks take a look at the pictures toward the bottom of the page and give me your guesses on the types (...) (...) who (...) Interesting - and scary. (...) It was my contention that the reported shooting sprees (that I recall) were by teenagers who had access to guns at home (and some experience with them). Not sure of the causal connection, if any, (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Guns! (was: Thoughts on Community & Censorship (Was: Re: Brickshelf censorship policy rules.....))

(...) Well, I never went on a shooting spree, but as a teen I did behave irresponsibly with guns (by the standards that most people express). And they weren't the .22 rifle that my dad had in his closet. They were used and probably stolen guns that (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Cyber Kids 2002

(...) There are two issues that I see, that can be phrased as two questions: Under what circumstances does a parent/guardian have the right to subject their children to surgery (even if minor outpatient)? Is it a good idea to participate in a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Engineering's not as simple as you thought.

Andrew Miller, Air NZ's acting chief executive advises that "Engineering's a very technical area." For the full story, see: (URL) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: The Suicide King

(...) Well gosh, now I don't feel so bad about not having been able to find anything but the most obvious. And that was the reason I didn't respond, of course-- too darned proud to admit it. It was bad enough to discover I completely failed to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: The Suicide King

(...) Naw, I think the wrists are cool, but the angle of the arm is "out of socket." Anyway, the other two things are unlikely to be caught by anyone without access to the DAT files. So, they are: 1) a clone dagger (this was before I realized there (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: The Suicide King

Richard, I just noticed this post while doing some catching up. Your design is very cool! I could only find three spots where it seemed you took artistic license. First, rather obviously, a knife couldn’t stick into a crown. Also, to stick the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Cyber Kids 2002

(...) Yeah, that's bad. But how about an angry frog rifling through your puter looking for clone DATs? I bet that's worse. Probably deletes files as he goes. =) -- Hop-Frog (I am not now, nor have I ever been, a gremlin.) (22 years ago, 4-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
