  Re: red baron with engine

(...) The micro motors have a tendency to stall and if they do the internal gears often bind. If you're lucky it can be fixed by forcing the shaft around. (...) So it can be replaced with some smaller parts and a motor :) (...) Detsamma! Best (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: red baron with engine

Tobbe Arnesson's utterance expressed in news:HCG5GJ.1syp@lugnet.com: (...) hehe (...) My micro motor had a heart-attack during micro-twirp-development, so I'm awaiting a replacement from TLC. (...) That is by far the most spaceconsuming solution on (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: red baron with engine

(...) Perhaps you can gear the micromotor so it makes the prop. spin fast? The prop. moves pretty easy so it could be possible. Or if you redesign the whole internal front you might be able to put the geared motor in there? The big grey studs on (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: new 2003 sets

(...) No one even mentioned what looks like a mini millenium falcon there. I CAN'T wait for the AT-AT and that backhoe 8455!!! Even that truck looks pretty good, and I typically don't like the "specialty" parts that that set has for all the smooth (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

  red baron with engine

Tried to mod the red baron (10024) with an engine. Has anyone succeeded in doing this internally? I think it looks a bit odd this way: (URL) moderation: (URL) one could do it with a micromotor - but that will not look at all like a real plane-engine (...)   Re: Cool Stuff on Brickshelf

Thanks for the compliments guys. The 4x4 is almost complete. I added the interior and more chassis details last weekend. I will be posting more pics sometime in the next week or so. The driveline is fully functioning with a 2-speed transmission and (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

  Re: MOC: Airwolf helicopter

(...) Thanx! I will probably present my models in the future with instructions. Most likely of this 3 current models (airwolf and 2 supercars): (URL) haven't decided yet how to present them. I may put them on a new website, which is the most likely (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.cad, lugnet.modelteam)

  MOC: Airwolf helicopter

Hi all, After many years I finally found out that there was a program called LDraw in which I could put my old MOC airwolf, with retractable weapons. I'm working on the building instructions of the helicopter right now. (Yippie I can almost use the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.cad)

Re: Scania R144 & Nooteboom Low Loader

The after deck is indeed quite low. And steering the axles was a little problem, but I didn't want to compromise there. It fits exactly and while steering the wheels just don't touch the bodywork. The spine floor can be disconnected from the axles (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Scania R144 & Nooteboom Low Loader

Hmmmm, I saw both the Scania 6x4 unit and the Nooteboom lowloader before. Let me think, the trailer, yep, it's this one! (URL) very nice job Evert! I'm very pleased to hear you're present as well on the 12th Modelshow Europe, this time in (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)
