Tried to mod the red baron (10024) with an engine.
Has anyone succeeded in doing this internally?
I think it looks a bit odd this way:

Maybe one could do it with a micromotor - but that
will not look at all like a real plane-engine revving
up :(

Leg godt alle sammen!

(...) Perhaps you can gear the micromotor so it makes the prop. spin fast? The prop. moves pretty easy so it could be possible. Or if you redesign the whole internal front you might be able to put the geared motor in there? The big grey studs on (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

I don't know the construction of the baron at all since I don't have one (yet!), but would it be possible to do it with the motor further back and a flex axle? Duq "Lars Gjerløw Jørgensen" <lgjPURGE@jyde.dk> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

Lars, I have not done this to the red baron (I do not own it yet) but I did it to the sopwith camel with mindstorm models. Lugnet Discussion: (URL) gallery: (URL) can also check out my Albatros D III model here: (URL) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.modelteam)

(...) I know Paul Baulch did it with the sopwith camel using the old un-geared motor, and it fitted completely inside (though I think it used some of the cockpit space). I haven't built my red baron yet :( ROSCO (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.modelteam)
