Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!!

(...) Whoops, I just noticed that the original post said over 1400 pieces, not 1800. Guess I was a little more tired than I thought after that roadtrip. So it beats out the UCS X-Wing for parts count. Man, that's one big car model! Time to start (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

My local (sort of: it's actually about a 90-minute drive, round trip) KayBee outlet had a dozen or so of the "Indian Chief" minifig sets (with horse and a few other parts) for $2 apiece last week. (...) I didn't see it there, I guess that is selection varying by store in action! I purchased this set in early 1998 for $40 at K-Mart, then disassembled it soon after and lapsed into my dark age.   Good deal on Castle item (heads up Castle Heads!)

Hey Y'all: I note that the Summer 2000 catalogue has the #4811 Defense Archer for $1.99 USD each. At the same time the page is marked "Buy any 5 items ... and save $4!
