What I really wanted were Droid Fighters--none to be seen, not even a • shelf
sticker! This must have been the most unpopular SW set, now it's among • the
first
to be history. I'm going to try TRU for Droid Fighters (now that I • realize
what
a great little set it is!)

Do tell, what do you use them for? I am still strugging for a good use for • the
big multislope piece.

I saw someone using them for plowing lines in a farm field (No, I don't know
the actual term!), and I think it would be good for some buildings, for a
different kind of awning or a top of the roof trim. It might be good to use
in some kind of spaceship as well, for a different kind of wing piece,
outside of the Driod Fighter usage. Like most LEGO's parts, it is all what
you make of it.

(...) It is pretty amazing that even at 1/2 price there haven't been many reports of AFOLs using this for much of anything. Too bad, for about the same tooling cost, TLC could have made a much better inclined roadway system. For one thing, not (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.town)
