I spoke with a local TRU management-type yesterday. He offered some insight
about the "64 stores" number. Supposidly, 37 are KidsRUs, 10 are relo's (stores
being closed in one location, to be reopened across town in a better traffic
spot), and 17 are actual TRU stores being closed. So the indication is that this
is not as bad as it first sounded. Most of the job eliminations are in the
closing of 5 regional offices, all of them is being consolidated to NJ.
