I placed an order with toysrus.com on Dec 1 and I am still getting "in the
warehouse" as my order status.  An email inquiry got a "sorry for the slow
service, it'll be there by Christmas" response.  Is anyone else having these
problems?

I placed on order on November 22nd, I have been e-mailing a lot, and I
tried to get on the phone. After trying all day, I got into the holding
pattern of death at 3:30PM, for about an hour. I finally talked to a
lady. She also said that they are processing them in the order they are
received, and she was very apologetic.

I am used to the retail holiday crunch time, but there should be no
excuse for a place as big as TRU.com to be this late, and not responding
to inquiries. If they had such a problem, they should take out the
advertising on TV, radio, etc. and focus on the people that are waiting,
and hire more people to work there. I don't know what's worse: the
store, or the online store. Ugh!

I'm sure they weren't ready for this--especially once they lowered those prices
for a week.  My understanding is that they weren't getting the expected number of
hits, so they *overcompensated* and got absolutely nailed.  Someone goofed, but it
was a bit higher up than the grunt level, I'm sure.  My 21 Nov orders finally
arrived this week, and I'm still happy about it, because I got two 7151 Sith
Infiltrators, two 7101 Lightsaber Duels, two large blue baseplates, and a Naboo
Swamp for only $35.

best,

Lindsay
