  Re: Lego and the theif

Larry & All, (...) article. I then looked for this on LUGNET - This LEGO incident happened last November 2005! (URL) the reporter mis-reported that it was November last year (In November 2005, etc.), or it is sloppy reporting. Based on what I have (...) (18 years ago, 14-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Lego and the theif

Just finished reading the internet paper and look what I found. I thought it was just an average article about theives, but guess what. Lego is in it. In November, William Swanberg, 40, of Reno, Nev., was arrested and accused of stealing hundreds of (...) (18 years ago, 14-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Brand Retail daily specials?

(...) The Bellevue store has a "LEGO Store Calendar" which they will give out on request; I assume that most stores have this same calendar, since the back lists promotions at Anaheim, Bellevue, Glendale, Hillsdale, Ontario, Orlando, Valley Fair, (...)   Brand Retail daily specials?

The LEGO operated stores seemed to be having a different sale special every day. A few days ago it was "buy $25 worth of stuff and get a free small PAB cup". Yesterday it was 20% off all Knights' Kingdom. Anyone have the schedule or know where to (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) I was greatly disappointed when I recently stopped by my local Toys 'R' Us and discovered their prices on LEGO sets. Some sets were at retail; certainly none were below, and a good many were above, some by as much as 40%. Examples: Big Gray (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) For some of us the rate change was a double whammy: they also began charging sales tax in states with corporate Lego stores. Shipping vs. sales tax used to be something of a wash, but now they are both there. It makes me more inclined to buy (...) (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) Well, people from outside NA have been protesting the exorbitant exchange rate they use to work out our set prices, but so far it's fallen on deaf ears. Good luck with yours though. ROSCO (18 years ago, 13-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shop at Home Shipping Rates

(...) Yes, I remember that now, but it was quite a while ago. For the past few years they've sold at regular retail with the flat shipping rate. (...) A very valid point, but I'm not referring to retail outfits like Walmart, TRU, Target, etc. I'm (...) (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)
