It says it in Australia. Note that the post was to lugnet.loc.au. It confused me too, btw, but the "G-day" should'a been a tipoff. Rick Clark (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Where does it say that there is 15% off at K-Mart? I went to mine today, and they had no idea what I was talking about! Can someone please point me to some information on this deal? Thanks! C (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

(...) Well, I checked the Chaddy Kmart last night, and they'd pulled all the UCS TIEs & Xwings they had last Friday. I hope this is only so they could set up a discount display.... ROSCO (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

  Re: buying lego in london

(...) I've just returned from the UK - my 3rd trip. In general, there are no places to buy Lego cheap in London. Once in a while, you might find something interesting at a flea market ("boot sale"), but that's about it. Even in small UK towns, I've (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Tired of Paying for Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO

(...) Jeff, When listing your older parts just take the extra time needed to explain the exact condition the parts are in (and price them accordingly), this will booster confidence in buyers. Do more than just write good or excellent on parts that (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Tired of Paying for Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO

Two thoughts come to mind. You could get someone you know who has a higher feedback help you out. Or, you could buy some stuff to get your feedback started, and then put your items up. You probably don't need to get more than 3 or 4 feedbacks before (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Tired of Paying for Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO

(...) Here's a different perspective: I recently received somewhat of a windfall - a number of older sets, mostly from themes I have no interest in. I want to sell them on Bricklink to support my other Lego purchases. Being a first-time seller, how (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What is Appropriate Feedback? (follow-up to "Dirty, Discolored & Damaged" posting)

Isn't there a neutral choice? Perhaps this is where comments like, "Worked hard to replace defective parts" could land. You didn't get what you wanted right off the bat, but with a little effort it worked out. It's the fact that you needed the (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

What is Appropriate Feedback? (follow-up to "Dirty, Discolored & Damaged" posting)

Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting about “Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO.” I appreciate the comments that let me know I’m not alone in my disgruntlement over paying for parts in this condition. Holy crap, that is CRAZY. Barely a FOTY, let me know if anybody else can top this for FOTC.
