Re: Other than Target, what are the Lego bargains to be had?

(...) This is coming up as $19.99 when I check. And the bucket is $12.99. I must have missed them. (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: RIS 2.0 on clearance at Best Buy

(...) Actually, you got a better deal. My understanding is that the 2.0 brick is identical except for being "upgraded" in the *removal* of the AC power input (it uses batteries only). You can save a lot of cash using electricity to power the RCX for (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) To my delight I was able to get a RCX kit at Best Buy. Now I am just noticing that the RCX brick is labelled 1.0 :( Did I still get a good deal? and is there a huge difference between the two sets? (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) BTW as of November 1st Target will not accept returns at all without a receipt or a gift receipt. Maybe this clearance policy is also something new. But I agree with Larry, I don't see how they can do that, especially when it says on the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) That has been their (and other stores) policy for items that don't have receipts for an awfully long time. But I suspect they would have a hard time getting that policy to stick if you have the receipt for your purchase. My experience in the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Target's new policy is that if an item is on clearance when you return it, you only get the clearance price value.
