OT: Amazing tape for your parts cabinets

Since we're on the subject of parts cabinets, I thought I would share a tidbit of information. Both Target and Wal-mart sell this great double sided tape from 3M. It is clear, thick and extremely pliable. It is perfect for attaching Lego pieces to (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

RE: KMart sale on storage (Akro-Mills?)

IMO, the Akro-Mils cabinets are much better if you can find them in your area. For one thing they stack nicely, and securely. While KMart is selling the "Stack"-on brand, they do not stack at all. They slide right off of each other. A slight bump (...) (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.market.shopping)

Is newtoyworld.com still in business, and if so, are they lucrative?

A few weeks ago I placed a Lego order with them. I received confirmation that my order had been received, but days went by and still no confirmation of shipment. I e-mailed them several times, but never received a reply, so I finally called the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  KMart sale on storage (Akro-Mills?)

I think these are by Akro-Mills, the company that everyone raves over. This seems to be a really good deal. I'm going by my SuperK today to try to get some. Here is a pic of the ad. Buy one get one free. (URL) BEN GATRELLE (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: eToys - cheap 8735 motor sets

(...) I got one for $9 in the final round of Target's clearance in January 2000. They didn't get that low this year, though (at least around here) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: eToys

(...) I believe you are correct, sir. American Express goes a bit farther, if you have trouble returning an item after you receive it, they will cover that up to 300 USD ++Lar (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: More Parts Available on Bulk ordering at Lego Direct

(...) What country are you in? I see that a lot of the packs that were added have went from pending to available (yaay!), and that they reshuffled the ordering (but still haven't added any sort of hierarchy or categorization, it's still linear) but (...)   More Parts Available on Bulk ordering at Lego Direct

Hi I was browsing the Lego Online Shop this morning and they were updating the bulk stuff before my eyes. They have doubled what you can order from there. There are lots of parts for sale now in Bulk or in at least service packs that weren't before. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I"m no expert on credit cards, but I think if you buy with a reputible credit card, (visa, mastercard, American express) you are guaranteed satisfaction, that is, if they don't ship, the card will recover the loss. If i'm wrong, please be kind with (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: eToys - cheap 8735 motor sets

Well, that WAS the price around 5-6pm EST - how long it lasted I don't know. I guess they upped it to $24.99 based on heavy demand - If TOO many people want it it must be TOO cheap. eToys does seem to rollercoaster prices.....anyone remember the (...)   Re: Is 6776 Ogel Control Center available?

(...) Hey Brad, How's it going? Rained so much this weekend I thought I'd see an ark floating down the 405. Don't know about the Control Center being available yet, but I was able to pick up a 6771 Ogel Command Striker at the new LIC. They got 8 of (...)   Re: eToys

Careful on any orders with eToys. Check out the cnet article about them at www.news.com. They will be filing bankruptcy within 5 to 10 days and closing down their website on March 8th, a full month ahead of what they were planning. Saving a few (...)   eToys - cheap 8735 motor sets

eToys is going belly up sometime in the next 5 days according to my local news report - HOWEVER, they are listing 8735 motor sets (9v motor w/ large battery box, gears, wheels and misc. parts) for $19.99 - about half price. Not too bad a deal (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: eToys

  eToys

eToys appears to have dropped some of its prices again. Leo's Castle, for instance, is $65, and the MTT is $28. Nothing fantastic, but better than MSRP. They may also be running out of some items. . .I think their computer is coming up with fewer (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
