(...) Well, the cheapest seems to be Wal-Mart, in many cases. They often sell a few percent below retail, essentially covering the sales tax and there's no shipping. I went into the Mountain View, CA Wal-Mart sale this evening and saw a big red Lego logo hanging from the ceiling where you enter. Interesting - the Kroger grocery store around the corner from my house has had some LEGO sets in the cereal aisle (of all places) for a couple of months.
