  Re: Target Strategizing

By reduced I meant virtually eliminated! (I should have also stated that the store is a regular Target, not a 'Greatland') Target Greatland tends to discount all items sooner and at a higher rate. Like everywhere else Target is pretty much hit & (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target Strategizing

I also checked several more Targets lasst night in search of the elusive 75% discount. Findings were that all are still at 50%, except for the one store that has no sale!   Target Strategizing

Hoping to score some clearance sets, I hit 10 Targets in the Kansas City area today. Most had a meager selection of sets, all at 50% off. Here are my findings in case this helps anyone else in their search. 1. Calling stores ahead of time seemed (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

Re: Any finds at Target? (Bay Area check)

I just checked a local Target in Cupertino (Stevens Creek close to 85): I have added the Shop@Home prices for comparison. I am definitely interested by a cheap 4404. My local Target had every LEGO set on clearence marked at 75% off! Lot's of great deals! Though the AT-AT was located in the clearence asile, but still full price. Gonna check on it tomorrow (I believe Wednesday is the day they adjust prices). (21 years ago, 7-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Any finds at Target?

Most of the Targets around here have the AT-AT at $49 and change. When/if it gets any lower I may pick one ot two up for parts. A few other items are discounted to 50% off. I did get 4404 for $40.00 yesterday there. (21 years ago, 5-Jan-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Got a AT-AT for $49.98 at Chez Target, but I had to use their in-aisle scanners to find that price as it was still listed at $79.98 I left about 7 there Saturday night and about 12 hours later a fellow Sealugger picked up two of the last (...)   Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(...) I found a Target with AT-ATs at 50% off, but not a single one had a sticker, so there were something like 10 of them - I suppose there's actually some hope there will be some left when they go to 75% off because of that, but the trick is (...)
