  Re: Target Clearance: Gringott's $7!

(...) Usually if it rings up at 0.00, take it to customer service or someone with a scanner gun. They can look the price up. You would think it would be the last price, but usually it is the 50% off (although ever once in a while it is at the 75%). (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target Clearance: Gringott's $7!

(...) My understanding of Target policy is that when the product scans at $0.00, they are supposed to charge the last price on record. The easiest way to find someone who can mark the price for you is to go to the women's fitting rooms. The employee (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target Clearance: Gringott's $7!

(...) I was told by a target employee that $0.00 means its been closed out and is supposed to go back to the warehouse. I have been told I couldn't even buy a $0.00 item before and other times they "made up" a price. Gary (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Target Clearance: Gringott's $7!

Hi all, Some Targets have hit 50% off or more. My local store seemed to be at 50% off for items like Jango Fett's Slave I ($24.44) but amazingly, the HP Gringott's Bank was $7.22!! None were marked, so scan away! The Gringott's actually scanned at (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jun-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

S@H Specials for 6/25 - can someone get them

I'm still preparing for my move from CA to FL, and the engine on my car decided to grenade on me, so I'm going to be a bit too busy today tearing it apart to get the Specials posted. -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home ***(URL) Bay Area DSMs (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce.lsahs, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: TRU discountin' like a over stocked Walmart.

(...) I just wanted to point out that my local TRU had 3511, 3512, and 3513 for only $4 each and 3621 for $10. I took all they had and would take as many more of the first three as I could find. I'm off to the next closest store later today. Chris (21 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.duplo)

Set 10042, American Flag set IN HAND

Hey all, just got back from LLCA and they had the American Flag set for sale. And for those wondering if the 'stars' were 1x1 round plates or 1/2 pins - well they are indeed 1/2 pins, see pic: (URL) Mark P (URL) Have you Visited the Land of Bricks?> (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

Big Sale at LegoLand California - Up to 70% off!

We went down to LegoLand CA today and found out that they were having a large tent sale with prices up to 70% off. If you have an annual pass, you get an extra 20% off beyond that.
