Looking for Priority Mail box #17's

If anyone here knows of a post office (Florida, Georgia or Alabama only) that has extra Priority Mail box #17's, please let me know. Also looking for #11 and #14 (but #17 is the greater need). I can possibly offer in exchange PM box size's #12, #16 (...) (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  USPS Priority Mail Box sizes

I'm trying to compile a list of the USPS Priority Mail box sizes. Not all of these are available from any one source, but I have seen them all at one time or another. Sizes are inside dimensions (L x W x H)... #4 7 x 7 x 6 (used to be 6 x 6 x 6) #7 (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

(...) The only valid answer to that is "collectors". (...) It does make something of a difference, but Galidor figures came out around the same time, and I doubt any of them have appreciated in value above MSRP. (...) You've got cause and effect (...)   Re: Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

(...) Which kinda goes back to my basic question... What makes one LEGO set 'collectable' and another not ? Is it age ? Is it appreciation above MSRP ? Is it availability ? Is it box condition ? Is it desireability ? Other than age, most of those (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

(...) Sounds reasonable to me. If it's a collectible, the packaging affects its value, based both on condition and rarity. If it's not a collectible, the packaging is just meant to contain and protect the product until you're ready to remove the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

(...) If the answer to the second question is "it is worth more", then, in my view, the item in question is a collectible. If it is "no difference" then the item isn't. LEGO is not fungible this way. Some LEGO items ARE collectible... an Airport (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

I am currently pursuing a claim for a LEGO set (a 7127) which was (somewhat) crushed during international shipping. This question was asked of me by the postmaster where I am attempting to file a claim. I was left with the impression that being a (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Serious delay at US customs?

(...) Maybe it ought to be, but it isn't. Numerous times I've send orders to Europe (UK, Ger, NL, Bel), and some arrived within 72 hours!!! And that is regular airmail, not express. 1 order I mailed on Tuesday morning got to the buyer Thursday (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.market.shipping, FTX)

Re: Serious delay at US customs?

(...) Yes, I'm in Canada. (...) You mean they make it there in three days? I wouldn't be surprised when it's known that they are Super Best Friends... :) (...) Well, It has been two weeks since his package was shipped. For comparison, a while ago I (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.market.shipping, FTX)
