Three words: "Bad Trader Alert"...

Seriously, to the best of my knowledge, Extortion is a crime
here in the US of A, and since we originally based many of our laws
on the laws in our former mother country, I'm thinking that
Extortion would probably be a crime there in the UK also.

OTOH, this may instead qualify as Theft, and not Extortion.
(I'm not a lawyer, so what do I know, eh?)

In either case, I recommend that you forward this matter
to your attorney, *and* that you post the identity of this crook
so that he can't easily do this to some *other* innocent,
unsuspecting LUGNetter...  (Would *you* have traded with this guy
if you had known he'd done something like this to someone else?...)

Re: My Lego is being held hostage!

(...) The story as described is truly outrageous and I think the participants holding the lego "hostage" have nerve beyond explanation. But, unless they refuse to come through on the deal there is no cause to list their names anywhere as "bad (...) (24 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

My Lego is being held hostage! I thought I'd share this, I'm not looking for sympathy. This is a rather bizarre story which, I'm sure, will end well. It involves 3 AFOLS: Mr A Mr B Myself I did a trade with both A & B for a large amount of Lego. (...) (24 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
