    Re: AucZILLA IX —Linc Smith
Todd Lehman wrote (...) Oh God! I hope he doesn't take offence and target my AucZilla bids. With Larry announcing his AucZilla "wants" I keep getting this funny image of five dusty Outlaws playing poker in some dilapidated old west saloon... There (...)          Re: AucZILLA IX —Mike Stanley
(...) I kinda wanted a cameo. Maybe I'd wander in and twirl a tin cup around and say things like, "I'm your huckleberry." (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

         Re: AucZILLA IX —Terry Keller
(...) 1. Clint Eastwood? What? You mean Jack Nicholson, don't you? Jack in "Five Easy Pieces" and Newman in "The Hustler" But ultimately, it probably is Drew Carey Hustling Five Easy Pizza's. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

         Re: AucZILLA IX —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Sorry, I was thinking of "Fistful of dollars" (URL) a Few Dollars More" (URL) (1) Forget I even said Easy Pieces, as my pieces are never easy or else I wouldn't use them... 1 - the title of which is particularly apropos for an auction, don't (...)          Re: AucZILLA IX —Terry Keller
(...) That is a good title. If I ever get off my butt and sort all the stuff I bought intending to auction, I might have to blatantly steal that idea.(1) -- Terry K -- 1.          Re: AucZILLA IX —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Yes. Just a few pieces for free. Say 5 or so. Then you could call them (wait for it...) Lar's Five Easy Pieces. Yes, I know, I said free above, but given a choice between free and easy, I take easy every time. (26 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: AucZILLA IX —James Brown
(...) This would be even more amusing if <glancing down my watchlist 'tiles'> it didn't look like I was going to play the part of "LeGoRuLeS" in your little drama. Sigh. (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

         Re: AucZILLA IX —Larry Pieniazek
(...) LINC is being melodramatic. I'm actually quite amenable to splits, because Tood, or his software(1), has a habit of putting sure to be hot pieces into single lots so that bidders go for them instead of several lots so everyone gets some. This (...) (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

         Re: AucZILLA IX —James Brown
(...) I was being mostly tongue in cheek; as I scroll down the list, I see our names beside eachother more often than swapping. In fact, the only thing we seem to both _really_ want is the 32 2x2 red tiles(1). Care to split? ;) (...) I'm in much the (...) (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: AucZILLA IX —Todd Lehman
(...) That's not what it does -- or, that's not its intent. All it does is look for a "happy medium" between lot repetition and lot price. When it chooses the lot size, it tries to avoid duplicate-lot cardinalities that are too large or too small (...) (26 years ago, 5-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

        Re: AucZILLA IX —James Brown
(...) If it helps, a local store has scads of the Time Cruiser thing on for about (educated guess) $50 Canadian. at one of the frequent 20% sales it would run about $20-25 US. (26 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

        Re: AucZILLA IX —Mike Stanley
(...) I've seen one of the 1789's locally for regular price. Thought about picking it up to auction it off, but wasn't sure if there would be much interest.
