RE: [FS] - eBay - McDonald's Promo set, box only - 25 cents

Its always a matter of finding the right fool, uh, er, buyer. Yah, that's it. As for shipping, we're talking about 15 or so boxes, at least 10 pounds each. One box is 24x24x about 40", easily 40 pounds. How about $250? make me an offer! mark (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: [FS] - eBay - McDonald's Promo set, box only - 25 cents

(...) Well... I seriously considered the offer, but I think 25 cents is just a little steep. I might buy it if the price were lowered to say, 22 cents. As for shipping, I'd like to know if you can wrap it in a velvet cloth? I'd gladly pay for it, up (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

On a serious note, you might want to try this, but without the outrageous shipping charge (since that is against the TOS) I say this because I was once at a flea market, and got to looking around for an old Mt. Larry, I don't know if you know this, but that is the Funniest E-bay listing I have ever read! I was laughing the whole way through! Maybe we can make a Lugnet laugh of the week or something.   RE: [FS] - eBay - McDonald's Promo set, box only - 25 cents

Hi Larry et.al., Maybe I'll win it and start mailing it (flat of course) around the world on a tour (or at least the US) like some minifigs or something. Then again maybe not.   Re: [FA] on eBay - Blue hopper.

(...) Very nice lot writeup! If every eBay seller did as good a job on their postings as you have, there'd be a lot less reason to hold one's nose while on eBay. It wouldn't address the fixed-time problems or the server issues, but it'd go a long (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
