FA - More SC items - BOATS!

OK, sports fans, as I promised... it's off to the boat races. Big time boats are here for you... for all of you that missed out on the recent boating action in the "500" auction, here you go. Every one of these is set well below what the same item (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Well, that line only occurs twice in 2300 lines, and both of them have to do with placing bids. The way this script seems to deal with things is that it literally regards your initial posting of an item as a bid (note on the bid list that (...)   Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Yeah, and I'm still learning. What you're seeing is literally a weekend's worth of me hacking several scripts together, mostly with bad or non-existant documentation.   Re: 6037 Witch's Windship

(...) Included a blurb on the posting page. If that doesn't work (I know this was an honest mistake - I'll see how many do it after 20 or so) I'll add it to the preview page as well. (25 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) I ran across that too. I'm not sure who, but either it or I put a dollar sign in one of the BID fields (would be nice if it said which bid fields). Also, I tried it without a decimal (00) and it didn't like that either. Ciao! (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Also, when you post a lot your conf says "as confirmation of your bid" instead of "your lot" There is a lot of funkyness with the fonts, that's for sure, the same line of menu options is different font styles in different places.   Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

OK, I posted an auction. Feel free to bid but it's not for real (there is a reserve price, in the dollars, for a single 1x2 brick). However I don't see it when I refresh the "new list"... is there a lag on that? Also I had a deuce of a time getting (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: 6037 Witch's Windship

(...) Yup. I'll have to include something in the item preview page about not setting up direct links to Lugnet. It should have showed as a frowny on the preview page as well. I know it did for me when I did one by mistake as a test recently. (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Actually, that's the way proxy bidding should work, IMO. Equal bids go to the earliest bidder so the first bidder should only have to meet, not beat, a challenger in a proxy war. Doug (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
