Re: making train cars for the show

Re: making train cars for the show

(...) I built a couple of club cars last night and realized that club cars have both the extra doors and the extra faucets to finish the middle cars. Since the difference between the 10001 and the K10001 is only $18.00, it makes buying more K10001s (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

(...) I suspect we may wind up with a much too big Metroliner... I should wind up with a 6-8 car train. I may try and do some train building this weekend.   making train cars for the show

Mike Walsh recently requested that LEGO make the center car available for the Metroliner as a separately orderable item ((URL) and that got me thinking: can a Metroliner be easily converted into three center cars? I gave it a go and found out that (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Re: LEGO at Durham NC Costco

Exit off I-85 on Guess Rd heading North, then turn right at the first light. I can't remember the street name. There's a sign that says "shopping center". Continue on the mystery street for several blocks, and Costco is on your right. Fortunately, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  LEGO at Durham NC Costco

The Costco off Guess Rd. in Durham NC had five LEGO sets that I saw. Two Bionicle sets (didn't look for the price) the Championship Challenge soccer field at $39.
