  Memorial Day Weekend

I have a 4 day weekend for Memorial Day and would love to have some kind of get together. One thought I had is to pay Thomas Main a visit in Boone. I do also want to reserve a bunch of the weekend for sorting and building (and if anyone is (...) (23 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  19 Lugnet members in NC

19 is good size number. I have met in person or had email contact with only 6. There are at least two other NC AFOLS that post here or have a web presence. Where is everyone?   Re: October 20, 2000 Meeting at Cary Clark's

I'm happy to report that nearly all of the buckets in Frank's 05 pic are now parted out (plus forty or more buckets and tubs, and hundreds of sets on top of that). As a result, I now have about twice as many storage drawers as is depicted in the 06 (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  More pictures of my apartment

After people left the March 25, 2001 NCLUG meeting at my house, I took some pictures. As you can see, I do actually have a couch! It does keep getting buried, but I did manage to uncover it for the meeting (to promptly be filled with boxes of parts (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-01, to lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.general)

Re: I'm kinda sorta train voltage complete

(...) It isn't that hard to run 12V stuff using a 7864 transformer. All you need (besides the 7864) is a 110V->220V stepup transformer, which would run you $20-30. The 7864 has the advantage of being able to run accessories without having everything (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

I'm kinda sorta train voltage complete

Having just received my first 12v train set I'm sort of train voltage complete, well not quite, while I have about 80% of the special parts from 7710, I can't really consider myself as having a push train. I do have 95%+ complete 7722 and a formerly (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.nc)
