  Re: Any new news?

If we can get together in the evening, I'm there. I usually get off work about 5 (usually), so anything after that would work out great. Perhaps we could finally get together. It seems like we are always just missing each other. It would be nice to (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  Any new news?

I might have tentative permission to host a meeting at my house (with final approval from my wife). Nothing too big but maybe just a get together. I am mostly looking at Sat. June 24. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have a new home email seen below. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

Re: Frist Meeting in the St. Louis Area.

(...) Funny...I was just in St. Louis this morning for about an hour and a half, connecting from San Francisco to Chicago. But...I probably won't have the $$ to make it down for meets :( -Tim (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (26 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.il)

Re: First Meeting in the St. Louis Area.

(...) They seem to have it sort of worked out. I am almost inclined to let the other groups hash it out before we get to far, the less we have to the better. I got E-mail at home from another potential train person who saw my web site. I pointed him (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

Re: First Meeting in the St. Louis Area.

Sorry we were in the S&S and stayed until 6:45. They had 1 or two waitresses and a full house. If my wife goes for it, this weekend we might try to meet at my house. L.   Re: Meeting

I live just south of Fenton. However, I drive all over town, so I am pretty familiar with just about the entire area. (One advantage for working for a utility, I guess) Something on 270 inbetween Manchester and Page would be centrally located, but (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

Meeting this weekend, probably Saturday, is the best choice unless conflicts arise. I live in St. Charles off 94 close to where the page avenue extension is coming in so I mostly know St. Charles. Quisno's or something sounds good if you know a (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  Re: Table

We could arrange something like that. This weekend I have to work until 4:30 or so (usually), and my other half is not working. Something in the eveneing would work for both of us.   Re: Table

I followed the design from the PNLTC web site and found that with 1 sheet of plywood, 4 2”x2”x8’ and 8 1”x2”x8’ I was able to make one 60 ½ x 30 ¼ table and one 30 ¼ x 30 ¼ table for $30, plus screws and bolts with not much leftover.   Re: Table

<cut and paste from email> I havn't built the table, just part of a module.   Table

Wayne have you given any more thought to the layout tables? I have been thinking of setting up a layout in the garage (no basement) and hang it from the rafters this weekend.
