sw stuff on sale at learning express

I was just over in Coolidge Corner (Brookline) and stopped in at the Learning Express (I think that's the name) there. They've got all of their 1999 Star Wars stuff at 50% off. There's not *tons* of stuff, but y'know, 50% off. (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Fall Legofest?

(...) Right. I think it will not be a NELUG event at all. Perhaps certain NELUG members will assist in holding it, but that doesn't make it a NELUG event of any sort... (which is why this is in .loc.us.ma.bos). (...) Well, I know Chris and I will (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Fall Legofest?

(...) There's a room in Bison County that we can reserve. It actually holds more people than the conference room at BU. (I can get bigger places at BU, but I'd have to be more formal about it -- the IT conference rooms I can just mark as mine for (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Fall Legofest?

(...) That is correct. 16 1/2 to be exact. :) That is why this is not an official NELUG event, but a general Lego fest which is being held in the NELUG area. Tim is going to talk to NELUG about setting things up. Having it being a "NELUG event" (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Fall Legofest?

(...) Sounds great to me. Now, Ryan, just checking... you're under 18, correct?... In which case, neither you or I could come to the fest if it's organized by NELUG, and I'm guessing that means Chris won't be there either. I think Saturday, the (...)   LEGO/MLS Soccer Truck at Faneuil Hall, 27 Aug 2000

[I canceled my first post on this, and am reposting with the correct date.] The LEGO Soccer Truck will be making an appearance at Faneuil Hall in Boston on *Sunday*, *27* Aug 2000 from 10 a.m. to either 4 or 6 p.m. Some of the non-soccer theme (...)   FOTW! - KB markdown!

Well, haphazardly walking through the KB in Worcester yesterday elicited some good prices, plus the Technic Space Shuttle (8480) at $55.10! (That's after tax) It seems they were having a markdown on ALL Lego sets PLUS an extra 25% off taken at the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

(...) Boston, Ma) last weekend, and they had a set of these. I don't know the official number, but it was one of the main Evangelion sets (it has the one with the "main character's" purple EVA).   Re: Age limitations

(...) For the record, we HAVE talked about doing NELUG (and unofficial, like Todd's proposed 4th-of-July thing) things that would include all ages. I think a lot of people from NELUG would be interested in participating in such a group. (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
