In lugnet.admin.general, Todd Lehman writes: [snippety-snipp] (...) Hehe :) I love the 'My dad has more Lego than your dad' idea, Larry! Can't wait to see it Saturday and probably buy a Legofest shirt. I know if I had kids (loong ways off) I would (...)   Todd: Urgent message: Use of the term LUGNET(tm) on a shirt.

Todd, I know you're swamped and you have my heartfelt sympathies. It's hard to lose someone you cherish. However there is a time urgent message in your inbox relating to the Tshirts being done for LL opening day. If you have any issues, please speak (...) I arrive on the 19th, staying at Grand Pacific Palisades resort. Welcome dropins on the nite of the 19th.. I will have T shirts that people might want to wear opening day (they say Adult Fan Of Lego(R) on the front, and "I read RTL... and LUGNET(tm) (...)   Events for Carlsbad Legofest?

What sort of events are planned for the Legofest? I've never been to one, so I'm just wondering if people will be bringing MOCs, creating some sort of set-up (town, train, space, etc.), etc. Also, are there any updates? Where and when will it be (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd)

Re: 7777 Train Idea Book, Carlsbad Grand Opening

(...) Well, the original pages are A4 (a bit taller, and slimmer, than our 8.5" x 11" pages in the States ;-). And the scans are also large, so you might find that the top/bottom would need to be cropped a bit, or you may need to reduce the image a (...)   Re: 7777 Train Idea Book, Carlsbad Grand Opening

David, congrats on your win! I just got a really nice HP 895C color printer. Has anyone attempted to build their own 7777 book using the online scans? I'm wondering how many ink cartridges it will take to print all the pages, full size at the (...) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

7777 Train Idea Book, Carlsbad Grand Opening

Hi folks, I recently won a 7777 Idea Book at auction. Even though it's a bit worn, it has been good to have the book to look at, since many of the illustrations and pictures span two pages. (While this works well in books, the online scans split (...) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Is March LEGOFEST kaput?

I can't get hats in time at this point but I am going to have some made... cost will be under 20. If you really really want a hat at LegoLand I can get one made at MoA but it will be over 30... Or you could make your own, find the location... (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.general)

  Carlsbad/San Diego Questions

Does anyone have any information on transportation from San Diego to Carlsbad?
