I think we should build on the NMRA momentum and have a September meeting. We should have at least one train layout going, plus as much other really impressive stuff as can be brought. Well, the NMRA show is now behind us. Kudoes to GMLTC and PNLTC who paved the way for LEGO Train Clubs (even if they have set the bar *very high* for those that folllow them.;-). We haven't picked a date, and we probably should. What dates are good/bad for everyone? September would fit into the "quarterly" schedule, leaving us to try to have a winter meeting between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had two meetings last year, (...) (...) These are the ones we have to keep eagle eyes out for Sat/Sun, or we'll be rebuilding a LOT of displays. I'll be showing up at the hall by 9am. Can someone bring in some plastic tablecloth (very lightweight, solid color(s) please.) That is for the NMRA convention. Admission to the Nat'l Train show, simultaneous, but different venue is $8 per day. The $2 is a discount off the $14 2 day train show only ticket. Mark (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
