Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) Unfortunately, the front and rear windows are in the right place (without quarter-stud offset bricks being available), and moving them would make the upper body too long for the scale! This is the compromise of detail with measurements of less (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) With the windscreens, did you mean that the side windows are too short or the front and rear windows too narrow? Cab windows are always the hardest part to model. I needed a piece for the front and rear windscreens that would give the division (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX)

New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

Here's my latest 8mm scale train MOC, a British Class 37 diesel loco in railfreight grey livery with red stripe, as carried by 37674 and others in 1988. (URL) The model has opening doors and removable roof sections, for closing the doors and putting (...)   Re: Lego Spares in Cambridge

(...) I've had a few people interested, but have been trying to clear out a load of other bits, so haven't got around to publishing the photos I took. Here they are: (URL) these images are large, and they're as clear as I could make all the items. (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Two British 37s - and another soon!

(...) There are quite a few liveries of Class 37s. I've just completed one in Railfreight grey with red stripe, based on this: (URL) With this livery the roof colour varies between locos - I've done mine in black. I hope to post some pictures soon.   Two British 37s

Hi, Since people have kindly informed me of the serial number for this train (see (URL) here>) and I found a picture of a retro-liveried version (37425 for those who care) I've decided to post some pics of my 37 series train in EWS livery and (...)   Lego Spares in Cambridge

I'm trying to have a clear out, and I'm looking for a good home for the remnants of my Bricklink store. I could put it all on ebay, but I think it'd be less hassle if someone came and took it all away since I already have a load of other things to (...) (19 years ago, 28-May-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  A stupid question

Hi everyone, I have what is possibly the stupidest question ever. I've made a model of a real British train (somewhat Lego-ified) which I'd labelled as an EWS 60 but looking on Google at EWS 60's it is not what I've made. So the stupid question is: (...)   Re: Lego display at Merrist Wood Open Day 15/5/05

The display went very well. At least 3000 people saw it out of the 12000+ that attended the event. There were six of us displaying. There were many cases of parents having to drag their children away and in some cases vice versa. The feedback I've (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Does anyone have an address to write to Lego about general enquires in the UK, as it seems the Rustin Road, Wrexham, Clywd offices have been taken over by the local council :) Peter (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)
