  Re: Croydon Lego convention

That's great that you have some things to bring along. The monorail especially would look even better if it were displayed with buildings, roads, etc. Could people please let me know if they have anything they can bring, even if it is only some (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) I was planning to be there the whole day so don't mind voluntering for part of the day to man a table. The only problem I can see with this is what money belongs to who at the end of the day. One system I've seen used at NCT bring-and-buy (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) I can bring along several locos, though I've only got so many motors. Rather than try and cram everything on to the layout, I'd prefer to just see a few running trains on the layout (say, a few concentric and passing loops), and display all (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) OK, the monorail it is then (it may have grown by then as I have two more trains in the post!) I'll map it out again tonight and indicate where 16x16 baseplates (or multiples for 16x32, 32x23 and 48x48) would reasonably fit if other people (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Hi, I've mapped the monorail track I can build on three 6 feet by 2 feet 6 tables and worked out where standard size baseboards would fit, see here - (URL) can supply all the track and two trains which will either run both at the same time on their (...) Hi I couldn't get that jpg to open properly but I would like to build something. 2 questions - Is there a theme of any kind? Are there any elevated bits and how high (...) (...) File problem or bad URL? (URL) folder above it should still be public, its plan 2 - (URL) 2 questions - Is there a theme of any kind? Not yet, I'm new to this game (...) Yes (...) Standard 10 high monrail support (...) Plot B1 would fit the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Monorail at Croydon convention - Plots now available

This Monorail is going to look great - especially if it could be combined with a train layout. If we have enough track available, we could loop around the Monorail and make one huge complex. Is anyone bringing track along, or buildings, vehicles, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Monorail at Croydon convention - Plots now available

(...) I'll bring some train track. Do you want just MOCs? Otherwise I could bring an Armada Flagship and some Classic Space models. A Classic Space display could look good if it was organised. Not simply a line up of 928s - maybe one or two - but (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
