I'm glad you mentioned that, Huw, because I was thinking the same thing. I
also was wondering about utilizing such a wide-scoping name-- Sam, have you
discussed this with anyone, or is this some sort of unilateral move?
Personally, I feel that if there isn't a demand for something, then it won't
come to fruition, especially if the demand is being served elsewhere (as in
various LUGNet NGs). Judging from the sound of Huw, I'd do a little legwork
(like posting in trains.org, .loc.uk, etc, asking if anyone feels the need
for such a group) *first* if I were you Sam (& Harvey, for that matter).

Sitting around and waiting for a group of people to build consensus on how to form a group is like, well, sitting around and (...)
