I notice a lack of use of UK On-line auction services such as ebay.uk or QXL. Several of you UK based sellers seem to prefer using the US ebay service. I guess you hope that a. the US service is actually viewed world wide b. you might get a higher (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I've got about 100-150 sets, (mostly large sets) in my collection, and I've also got almost all the boxes. Trouble is I don't have that much space and I'm not particularly interested in collecting boxes. I don't use them - I prefer to store my lego (...) I bought the 8001 Technic Battle Droid in Beatties in Winchester today and it's so cool! I'm going to have to buy some more of those so I can build the ATST walker (the alternative model) and the three different droids - it's cool that the coloured (...) (26 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Having moaned recently about Lego UK denying us trains, I am pleased to see that the UK seems to be one of the few places with 8001 battle droids on the shelves. I have seen post that they are in Germany There were plenty on the shelves in toy shops (...) (26 years ago, 23-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
