Hi Lawrence While I sympathise with your sentiments, it's not true that Lego are somehow pulling out of trains in the UK, as you imply. For a very long time, the train selection in the UK has been more modest than across the Channel - I'd guess (...) (26 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I was in Amsterdam on holiday (partly to buy the '99 train range) and noted the difference between the UK and the Netherlands. It is not just LEGO trains that are not just popular there, all toys and trains are. Trains and LEGO are all declining in (...) (26 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
