For many years I used rtl and lugnet to buy and sell lego, but these days everyone uses eBay. After using eBay for both buying and selling recently, I have found it a pleasant experience and not quite what I expected. Almost everyone I have traded (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Dodgy sellers aside ebay is great I just got a 383 for £38!! It was marked at Ship to Germany only but I mailed the seller and he was happy for me to bid always check for Items only available to France or Germany and if you ask nicely people are (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

There are many Lego bargains to be found on eBay, not every seller is a money grabber. Some while ago I won a pair of Cypruss trees (the BIG plastic trees) for about US $5 from Australia.
