  Re: Train Set 113 Advice?

(...) Lots of papers of TLC show white baseplates on 111, 112 and 113. Just forget about that: nobody I have heared of has ever seen that in white and I doubt they were ever produced: I'm sure that have been first "handmade" sets for the press (...)   Re: New Civil Engineer - Lego vs Meccano debate

(...) Excellent work, Simon. Thank you for taking the time to do this on the behalf of Lego fans, and especially us Technic-heads. It's well written and makes some good points.   Re: New Civil Engineer - Lego vs Meccano debate

Dear all. Thanks for your help. Here is the completed 300 words. They've kind of backed me into a corner by changing the question so it's back to being specifically about degree courses and I'm not as fiercely anti-Meccano in that arena but I've (...) thats fine. its nice to get some feedback :) the idea was to give it a professional edge. We figured a slightly more muted colour scheme would detract less from the images. Remember eventually this site is prolly gonna be stuffed with mocs and Lego (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
