Lots of papers of TLC show white baseplates on 111, 112 and 113. Just forget
about that: nobody I have heared of has ever seen that in white and I doubt
they were ever produced: I'm sure that have been first "handmade" sets for the
press release. In the second version of the 239 idea book (not at brickshelf)
there is even a 113 with a white broken motor-baseplate. I think if you use a
saw to get a 4x8 area out of a 6x16, the 6x16 will break just the way it did in
the book... (Same with spoked wheels with 12 spokes. Nobody has ever seen them,
but they are in lots of idea books.)
Kind Regards,
Ben
