Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Colby Chapman
(...) Hrmm... I wasn't really happy about that, as I was looking forwards getting another Huki (No.1 of 6), but the store I went to sold out, and so I got Onepu (no.2 of 6). This was the Flinders St Macca's. Colby. (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Martin Scragg
(...) When was this, I went to that store tonight just before 6pm, and they only had Huki. I have been to a few different stores over the weekend, and they all seem to have opened different boxes first, as I have 1, 2 and 3. Just check out another (...)         Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Benjamin Whytcross
(...) Well, Roxburgh park had number 2 yesterday, but when I asked today, they'd opened number 1 box as well :) [though when Mandy first pointed them out to me [she regrets it now :) ] they had both 1 and 2 at Greensborough.] BTW, there's a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Colby Chapman
(...) That was around Midday I went there. Today I went to my local store - Karingal - near Frankston, they have already got no. 3 out, I asked if they still had no. 1, the girl who served me went looking for one. Found one! But the funny thing is, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) How do you buy the toy without the meal? And how much does it cost? I never thought you can buy toys without the meal, I thought thats why it was called Happy Meal just so the kids have something to play while eating the food. Colby. (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Pete White
(...) I find regurgitating the meal on the counter always works. Otherwise $2 will do the trick. (Or so I'm told) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Martin Scragg
Just ask for the toy (or multiples thereof), they are $2 each.          Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Allister McLaren
I almost bought one of these things yesterday. Then I came to my senses. Even for building Bionicle stuff they don't appear to have any useful parts except perhaps for the masks. At least they're better than the usual plastic garbage they put in the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Ah...all it takes is a little imagination. Checkout the MOCs by a lugnetter at this completed auction, (URL) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) thinking of when I made mention of the masks previously. I also saw someone using them as wheel covers on a 'Spinner' car (from Blade Runner) recently. Inspiring. OK, so I ended up buying a couple yesterday. I was reflecting on it, and I think (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Bionicles Promo's at McDonalds —Pete White
(...) Mmm...the brown ones, Huki ( 1 of 6), I never did manage to grab all the Hukis I wanted, I was too slow off the mark and ill earlier this week. So beware, my local Mc is now onto the yellow masked one which is 4 of 6. So the first 3 have sold (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Something to play with while eating the food? Well, it could be done that way... but my child is not allowed to play with the toy until *after* the meal is finished. It gets us out of McD's significantly sooner. ;-) Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)
