RE: We should draft an "official" letter to Lego Australia

(...) Yep, that sounds better. I knew what I wanted to say, it's just the child inside me that wanted to make it sound harsh, and I was having trouble trying to type what was wanted without him complaining too much :) As a follow-up, in future (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I think you'll find the 'gear sticks' / 'flying objects' were the search droids (?) that Darth Maul sends out after he arives on Tattoine to find Qui-gon and Co. Benjamin Whytcross BWhytcro@PacificAccess.com.au Ph: (03) 9856 5282 Directory (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least) - a review of the Sith Infiltrator

(...) Having bought one, here's my review. First take a look at it: (URL) Sith Infiltrator is not the most exciting piece in the Star Wars collection. It's medium in size and is somewhat unexciting in its colours (two tone grey with blue and black (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least)

Down here, most toyworlds have sold out of 7151's, so I don't know what they were last priced at. I do know, however, that the 5988's have dropped in price, but I think they are either $79.99 or $89.99 down here. [I was told that the prices the (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Toyworld specials (in Brisbane at least)

I initially thought it was a one-off sighting ... but I have now seen a few Toyworld stores in Brisbane stocked to the gills with: 7151 Sith Infiltrators at $39 (down from $89) 5988 Pharoahs Forbidden Ruins at $99 (down from $189) Warning: all (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Mindstorms Ultimate Accessory Set

(...) From memory, it cost $US 50 from memory which included shipping within the USA.   RE: Should we Draft an "official" letter to Lego Aust. ?

Santosh, Good idea. My major concern would be that LA may have some trouble with the www.lugnet.com site. Maybe a pointer to the Australian section as well?   Should we Draft an "official" letter to Lego Aust. ?

Another point for discussion (its a long one to read): Now that there seems to be fair sizeable number of people and ideas floating around loc.au, how does the idea of writing to Lego Australia sound? Shouldn't that have been: 171 loc.au · 169 general 114 trains :) Now if we can keep this up, we might even be able to de-trone the yanks. [Of course TLG, and LA will still treat us as their lowest priority regardless of our complaints/status here. (...) (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
