Yeah, but they're not willing to discuss exactly why it failed (I suppose
that's reasonable), so I can't go to my issuing bank (which bank?) to
discuss rectifying it. Their (Paypal's) only response is "try another card"
but I only have one. And they won't let me use credits I have in my Paypal
account to pay for other things - it has to be redeemed to a card account.
So the money I have sitting in my Paypal account (not nuch) is unusable by
me unless I get another card. And there's no guarantee if I get another card
that it will work with Paypal.

Really useful "service".

Probably something to do with your issuing bank.

I'm sure most of you already know , but Paypal is discontinuing • withdrawals

international Sellers. It is very frustrating. Paypal is by far the • easiest
way to accept payments and pay for goods of course, over the NET with
reasonable fees.
I realise that Paypal is just doing what they have to do. (Visa and
Mastercard are the ones pulling the strings, I suppose the last thing • they
want is people putting money back into there Credit Card accounts.)

Perhaps we need a Paypal Australia?
It would be great but can't see it happening...
How do we accept inernational payment now? What is everyones • suggestions?

What sort of fee do you get charged to convert US dollars?
Is there a charge for cashing a Western Union money order?

Any way time to put the soapbox away, Sorry everyone.

Well, PayPal never accepted my only card (Visa) anyway, so it's always • been
useless for buying.

Situation normal.
