Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Benjamin Whytcross
I think you'll find that Larry spends a lot of time on-line [or else he seems to pick times when someone will post a message he thinks needs comment to go on-line :)] Oh yes, and he's rather sensitive about people demonstrating the fact that the (...)         Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) It's random. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't (...) Well that's certainly one viewpoint on what I'm sensitive to, but it's not correct. What I AM in fact sensitive to is people whinging excessively, no matter where they are. And in your (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Richie Dulin
(...) DV, Yes*! And what is more there should be a range of sets available there not available at retail anywhere else in the world** - and not just the silly (or obvious) one's either***. The Popemobile (should that be (tm)?) would not be that far (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Kerry Raymond
(...) What Swiss Guard? When I went to the Vatican, I didn't see any Swiss guards whatsoever. Security, crowd control etc was provided by a large squad of way-cool young Italian-looking men in black suits and black sunglasses, all looking like they (...)          Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Pedro Silva
(...) Obviously, they hide in ski racks. Legally, all Swiss people must have bright coloured skis. Pedro (22 years ago, 15-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Richie Dulin
(...) Guns? I thought the Swiss army only used those incredibly useful knives. (...) That's what they want you to think! Enemy troops can plainly see the camouflage green, but they are supposed to think that the pink splotches are bullet wounds.... (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Kerry Raymond
(...) So they fooled you too. The Swiss Army knives that we buy in shops are in fact not the standard issue for the Swiss Army. Our Swiss Army knives unfold to reveal scissors, screwdrivers, corkscrews and things for taking stones out of horse's (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Matthew Wightwick
(...) Simultaneously? Wow, they must be talented. No wonder nobody's declared war on them for ages. But I gotta admit, it does make sense now. I mean, why would the Swiss Army want to take stones out of horses' hooves? They wouldn't be able to use (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Richie Dulin
(...) Curse those deceptive Swiss! (...) Another case of Australia being discriminated against! Those Swiss treat Australians very poorly.      Er-HEM!!!!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!! What is up with you people and shop at home?! In case you hadn't noticed, in many of my earlier posts (and this is the reason I don't have wheels yet), I have clearly stated that I will NOT buy from the S@H service, and (...)         Re: hmmmm... What about us? —Allister McLaren
(...) Great post Kerry. I too think Australia is pretty well served for Lego, although I do wish they had a far more extensive line of bulk parts, but I believe that's a universal complaint.
