Okay...Follow-up Question: Which range(s) with minifigs (I'm not counting stiffs here] prior to 1996 had been running the longest continual time in Australia. [eg, the time from when a range was released to when it stopped...mini-figs were released (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

One more thing, if there's a catch in the question, could you please rephrase it? Uhh ... Benjamin ... About your follow-up question. It would seem a fairly safe bet that anyone guessing would have to pick *one* of the ranges mentioned below. Do I spot another lurker :) Yep, the set was released in Aus in 1991 for $44.95 [2771 duplo family was $28.25 at this time.] it was still available in 1992 at the same price. [Sorry, but the next Aus catalogue I have at work is 1996, so I can't say (...) (25 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Thanks, I thought about the possibility of that set being in there, but there doesn't seem to be any of the specialised chassis plates or sloped bricks. (...) Benjamin, check the numbers 'O' and '3'. Are they slightly italic? I seem to remember getting this set and there is a difference in the typeface. Also, if you had evidence of white framed classic windows you might also have parts for a London (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.db.inv)
