Yep, the set was released in Aus in 1991 for $44.95 [2771 duplo family was
$28.25 at this time.] it was still available in 1992 at the same price.
[Sorry, but the next Aus catalogue I have at work is 1996, so I can't say
when it was discontinued.]
As to where you can acquire a copy [of the set, I assume]...I wouldn't know,
but I'll keep an eye out in my wanderings. [sounds uncomfortable, but I'll
give it a go :) ]
