  RE: Australian Lego Quiz

Well...Guess what...I hadn't noticed that one either :) There's still at least one more [and no doubt you'll find others, too. Keep them coming :) [BTW, todays clue for the set I'm thinking of...the last digit in the set number is the same as the (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Help wanted finding which 60's sets I've got. [Long parts lis t]

Benjamin, I believe (and I'm only 95% sure on this one) that the ONLY sets that had the 1x1 white numbers and letters were the parts packs (planpacks in UK). The numbers are (letters/numbers) 234/237(late 50's-early 60's), 487/488 (mid 60's) , (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.db.inv)

  going offline for 3 weeks/BUGS

Well bye for now, I'm off to NZ for a 3 week vacation. For those Brisbanites interested in a BUGS let me know personally, although I won't be able to make it. Until then bye for now. I will get some prices and work out the difference on Lego sets (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re:Australian Lego Quiz

Ben I have been doing some more research, much to my husband's amazement. This quiz has been driving me crazy. I think the answer is set 6379 Riding School, available from 1986 to 1990 inclusive. Two mini-figs and 4 wheels on the horse drawn cart. (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Hi Melody! Welcome to .loc.au -- check out .org.au as well for more local info. Did you give up Lego for a while and get back into it recently? Star Wars did it for me.   Has anyone checked out lugnet.people lately?

I was looking at Melody's roll call, and saw that it cross linked with lugnet people, and while I was looking at that I saw some very interesting Lugnet gossip. Todd and Suz might be having their wedding at Legoland California! Wouldn't that be (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  New sets at Toyworld (Hobart)

Just got back from Toyworld, they have new stock that arrived yesterday. They have Race, some Dino sets, Mickey (yuk!), Action Wheelers, and new Baby (Primo). Also have restocked the Soccer sets (all sets). Some of the Dino sets have apparently not (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  RE: Australian Lego Quiz

Todays clue... There are exactly 2 wheels [not counting steering wheels (if there are any used...)] for each mini-fig in this set.   RE: Help wanted finding which 60's sets I've got. [Long parts lis t]

I had assumed something like that was the case...You wouldn't happen to have inventories for any of these sets would you? [or anyone else?] Also, I was wondering if anyone has inventories for 700/? sets as well. I'd still love to know what set the (...)   Re: Help wanted finding which 60's sets I've got. [Long parts list]

Benjamin, When there are very few specialty parts (like in the 60's and early 70's), it becomes very difficult to determine what sets you have. The one thing that strikes me is the 20 macaroni bricks. They are from the parts pack (#224) or possibly (...)
