Re: Aust event 2005 (update #1)

(...) That is all fine and stuff, but there is a lot more to it than just finding a place and time. Otherwise we may have a venue, but not the rights to run such an event. It's not a case of just finding a venue and saying it's going to be on this (...) (20 years ago, 11-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: Aust event 2005 (update #1)

I think the most important thing is to get the where (sydney) and the when (i.e. get exact dates or failing that, close enough). That way, everyone can make sure to keep the time free and also can start investigating travel plans (i.e. figure out (...) (20 years ago, 11-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Lego Set Re-releases

(...) The set has new greys, but the minifigs' colour remain unchanged from the original. I'm pretty sure the Y-Wing is identical to the original (except for the greys), but Vader's ship is slightly different, which accounts for the difference in (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego Set Re-releases

(...) Your guess is as good as mine. (...) New greys almost certainly. (...) Possibly, but don't count on it. I think the re-released X-wing (URL) was available retail in UK, but not sure where else. Never saw it here. (...) I doubt it. (...) Who (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Lego Set Re-releases

Hi All. I was looking on Shop@home today and I came across this (URL) have a few questions.. 1) What other sets are Lego planning to re-release? 2) Are they in the new or classic greys? 3) Are these re-releases ever going to see retail? OR 4) Have (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Target Sale

(...) I've read a little bit on these C3 construction sets. Currently quite a popular action figure genre are Kubrick or building block style.   Target Sale

Just in case you haven't seen the junk mail yet, there's a sale at target this week (actually, there seems to be one every week, but this one is on topic. Partly.). Firstly, there's an interesting looking assortment of (URL) Superhero construction (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: The Australian Brick event of 2005!

(...) This is great news! (...) Cool! And not just because it's most convenient for me. Presumably, Sydney, because of it's large population, has the largest number of 'closet' afols. (...) Looking forward to hearing more... Cheers Richie Dulin (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: Australian Nation Meet, 2005. A hand in the air.

(...) I think an insert in the World Club magazine could be a big mistake. World Club magazine would reach a lot of kids. So before going down that particular road, we probably need to think whether the event is intended to cater for kids and, if (...) (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: The Australian Brick event of 2005!

Good news :) Thats got the location sorted out (Sydney) Now if the date can be sorted, people can start planning for traveling to it (and in my case saving up for travel costs) (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: The Australian Brick event of 2005!

(...) No venue/date etc just yet (we will let you know once we can find what is more suitable) but it will be Sydney for obvious reasons. There are still a lot of other things to sort out before we get to some stuff, but that doesn't mean we can't (...) (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Australian Nation Meet, 2005.

  Re: Australian Nation Meet, 2005.

(...) And, I would contend, the same could be said of men not standing by their principles. (...) You mean "Do as I say, not as I do"? -snip- But enough straying to .debate material. (...) Actually, I was. (...) Indeed. Cheers Richie Dulin (20 years ago, 3-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: Australian Nation Meet, 2005.
