  Re: old sets return

(...) Hm...so that means there's a chance that they might show up at the Lego Outlet(s)....cool! I've noticed that the Dawsonville, Georgia (Atlanta area) had a truck the other week with a lot of cool stuff...Imperial Shuttles, they had 4 (...)   Where can I order specific Technic service pack? (Canada)

I am looking to order several Technic kits (#5295) for my Lego robotics course in our community college. Mostly to implement a rack and pinion steering mechanism for robot cars. Seems the Robolab kits don't really include enough parts for such a (...) (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) The other kind of stores that might be interested are those stores that specialise in "executive toys" or "adult leisure products" (no, not *that* kind) or "gizmo shops". Those stores often carry the high-end model-building sets, huge jigsaws, (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) These may not be reissues, they could be old stock (like a number of the old service packs that have shown up lately) Anyone at TLC want to confirm one way or the other? But even if they are old stock, its still good to be able to get them :) (23 years ago, 9-Feb-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.lego.direct)

Incidently, I read somewhere else that the 10020 was some kind of SuperChief train, which also showed up on the S@H website, but is gone now too. Perhaps in the near future, we will get (...) (...) Apparently it was a flub. I just got off the phone with Enfield (they're there on weekends now, hurrah!), and they said that yes, the stock numbers are in their system, but no, they're not yet orderable--maybe in a week or so, when these (...)   Re: LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

(...) Um, isn't this *really* big news? A minimum buy of $1000 would make it reasonable for some parts sellers to buy Lego at wholesale. It's not 75% off clearance, but wholesale would be a good price, especially if it gave a seller the opportunity (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.theory)

  LEGO disappearing from small toyshops

Hardly any small toyshops seem to carry LEGO anymore. I've been told that toyshop owners don't like to carry it because it's too "mass market" and they specialize in quality toys. Also, I suppose it is hard for toyshop owners to compete with the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)
