  Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) I should've know better than to say "loose joint" in front of professor snead! You'd be disappointed to hear this Chris but I haven't even had a chance to use these in any build yet, even though I swore I would. Lack of time more than (...)   Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) Aaah, but what about the Zoids Blox series?? I just picked up two sets while at the San Diego Comic Con and interestingly enough the holes in the blocks/blox fits and axle or pin perfectly. Hmmmm.... (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) You realize, of course, there is a very nice way to stiffen those joints significantly in both axes. I'll post it in a couple of weeks, but the technique is very similar to the plate hinge stiffening technique. Personally, on my wish list is a (...)   Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) Hmm...I've seen some of the model kits by Bandai, and those are pretty cool, but I haven't been holding my breath for the gundam lego, because I know that's never going to happen. It would be cool, but until then, I guess we'll have to do (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) The listed copyright owners of the core Gundam series are Sotsu Agency and Sunrise. Bandai is the only company that I can think of that is currently producing Gundam related merchandise. There is a reason for this though, Sunrise is a (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Would you buy it?????

(...) Oh, definitely. It would be great to see some lego models, particularly of the Gundam Wing or Transformers line. I think that would be definitely innovative, and contribute to some great sales. Unfortunately, I think the Gundam License is (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Would you buy it?????

I would definitely like to see Lego acquire a license and started producing mecha themed sets(if they can't do something cool on their own - highly likely). To some extent I believe in the minds of TLC, they already are through Bionicle and some of (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Would you buy it?????

I've made a point of avoiding video games for years now. It's weird because I love them. I know this is gonna seem REALLY Old Skool, but, I loved my Nintendo! I had all the Space Ship - Multiple Gun games. Then I realized, the more I played Video (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: How do you spell Infomaniac?

(...) Hi Clark, In the original Lego Island PC game, he was the Infomaniac without the R. I suspect either the person who did the 6740 writeup made a mistake, or (and this would be another terrible example of TLC caving in to pressure as they did (...)   How do you spell Infomaniac?

There is a character in the new stunts sets, I think he is the news reporter. His name is spelled Informaniac on the SAH site: (URL) spelled Infomaniac (no R) on the lego.com site: (URL) I like the R better, it's more of a play on his job. The (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Interesting retail pack

(...) Hey everyone. I am the culprit as Steve Bliss has mentioned. Here are the details. The package was from some kind of folding screwdriver. The plastic cover slips right off easily, there was only a staple holding it in position. I kept the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Interesting retail pack

(...) I'm not seeing it. Maybe it's a defect of the price tag that happens to correspond to the reflection? (...) That's because it's not a plastic-glued-to-cardboard blister pack. The plastic is formed so that the cardboard back can slide in and (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.fun)

  New Products on Shop@Home

How long do products stay in the 'New' section on the Official Site. It's not going to be long before the entire contents of the database is going to be on the one page. Its kind of loosing its purpose. Time for a cleanup ?? -- James Stacey (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Interesting retail pack

Besides being well-done and funny, we can recognise a highly ironical message behind this joke: If mainstream TLG were to produce a useful, very generic parts pack these days such as TECHNIC ball joints, it would probably market it as a hot-themed (...)
