Re: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS???? LEGO PLEASE READ!

(...) Fair enough. (...) Just curious... did that questionaire ever show up on LEGO.com or even LUGNET? I don't mean to sound glib, but I think it highlights the point that if you're not in the inner circle, you're not really in the game at all when (...)   Re: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS???? LEGO PLEASE READ!

(...) Yes, that was exactly my point. LUGNET does not represent the whole of the LEGO buying community... only a small percentage who are 'in the loop'. If you wanted real data about what the general public would buy, you would post surveys/votes on (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Does this mean that you'd put faith in a vote on the LEGO.com site representing the LEGO buying public in general? Interesting. Cheers Richie Dulin (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

What's the good number for S@H now?

I called 1-800-835-4386 to place an order and got re-directed to 1-800-453-4652 and couldn't order any of the items I wanted (which show up on the web site as available). It seems like this is the fulfillment service. Is there a new way to get (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS???? LEGO PLEASE READ!

You're right, this was all done by adult fans for adult fans. I was just trying to dig out some of Lugnet's past for you that you might have missed. Lego have used real consumer research at other times (we saw a questionaire at Brickfest for (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) there a vote, initiated by the LEGO Company, on the subject of what parts to release in bulk?" (...) wasn't a true 'vote' on the LEGO.com site, I'm not sure that I would put much faith in it representing the LEGO buying public in general. (...)   Re: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS???? LEGO PLEASE READ!

(...) In fact the very first "bulk" part requested in this group was the cypress tree, by Mark Herzberg: (URL) when Bulk was defined as "not less than 1000 of the same part? It was that thread. Coming in May 2000. Hey, we got the cypress trees. The (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

(...) Well, at least we are talking about this! And that’s what I wanted. I really hope if we keep talking about this subject of light gray bricks, we just might see them next year? Was I harsh......Maybe, but I don’t really feel so. Brad is a CEO (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS???? LEGO PLEASE READ!

(...) If that's their concern, then it's too late. MegaBloks ProBuilder sets 9760 for $20 and 9780 for $50 include about 150 and 600 grey 2x4 bricks respectively, as well as a number of 1xN grey bricks, tons of grey plates, and a lot more, and (...)
