When I inquired about the set, a floor clerk did not know what I was talking
about. But he did say that tons of toys are coming into Walgreens for the
holidays.
So he took my card and a picture of the 4679 box that I printed. The clerk
then passed the request to a manager.
I assume the manager knows more than the clerk about the stock that is
flowing in and out of the store. The manager called me later in the day and
told me he would hold 3 of the sets in the office for me.
Now when I went to pick up the sets, they were still in the back and none
were on the floor. They had just gotten them in on Wednesday.
I have not been back there since, but I suspect that some Walgreens may be
holding stock in the back in preparation for a total reset of the toy and
Seasonal aisles.
So be persistant. I'm sure that there will be plenty to go around.
And to the folks at Lego - thank you for these sets. The price points for
the TRU, Walgreens and Kroger sets are great.
