I was thinking of largely common elements when I considered when a colour first "appeared". From my recollection neither dark (...) | I've just heard from a colleague that in Europe, we are about to sell through the Statue of Liberty (#3450) set. It's had an amazing run, and was the second LEGO Direct exclusive set. | (...) Well, they've been around for MORE than 20 years (1977 for dark grey and 1974/77 for brown, if you count the maxifig hair which probably wasn't ABS).
