(...) ...Yes! These two items would be infinitely useful to those of us drooling on the prospects of a continuous feed :-) ...you can go back to ignoring me now... wubwub stephen f roberts wamalug guy ((URL) #160 (26 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: requests for brad and lego direct

(...) I'm not Brad, but I would not be surprised if all molds are still availble (minus "redesigned" molds, like when they redesigned the round tree to have a taller trunk and rounder endges). Witness the re-introduction of pieces, especially (...) (26 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

bulk pricing with the cost/stud method

Not sure if this has been discussed here yet. Just doing some number crunching. In trying to figure out how a simple brick is priced, I derived a price per stud rate, i.e.; a 2x4 brick is 8 studs. This does not take into account the possibly more (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: requests for brad and lego direct

(...) If they broke a couple of the juniorized molds that would be nice. :) I didn't get the impression they would have any product development associated with LD. I got the impression TLG liked the idea of generating revenue from the molds they are (...) (26 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: bulk pricing with the cost/stud method

(...) First, my only criticism: Market.theory might be the most appropriate place for this. However, if LD proves to be more expensive than Ebay for common bulk bricks, I'm sure this thread will be resurrected. I recently put some bulk legos up for (...)   Marion helmets, dark gray, 100-300

I've been thinking about a way to communicate our wants to LD that would be concise and convenient. One idea was to try to make the message line the message. We all want different parts in different size lots, depending on cost. If one person leads (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Delivery question for Brad

With all this discussion about ordering, I was wondering if you could enlighten us as to where orders from Australia / NZ / asia / africa are going to be filled and sent from. As there are going to be dispatch centres in both Europe and the US [and (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Annual Accounts 1999

Reading this report, I realized that the LEGO group is a company that is strugling for its survival in this world of hard competion. Until recently, I believed that the LEGO group was just another profit-oriented company that wanted to make as much (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.lego)

  profit oriented

I believe lego is profit oriented. example: building plans. Why then are 90% of things you can build take "special parts" I would like to see plans that can be used with basic legos. We need to buy special sets before building plans in the books (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: the latest news

So what's the latest news? Brad's post is almost a month old, with no new posts, even though "I and other representatives of The LEGO Company will now be participating in LUGNET on the order of once a week or so." I know you're busy getting LD off (...) (26 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Does Lego S@H have an internal communication problem??????

I think this posting is important to LUGNET users, and LEGO Investors alike. I called the Lego S@H today and I mentioned a product that I read about on LUGNET and the representative had no idea what I was talking about. Namely Brad Justus, the (...) (26 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Does Lego S@H have an internal communication problem??????

(...) Huh? LEGO is a private, family owned business. (...) What product? The S@H reps are *very* good at taking orders for available products. What are you talking about? KL (26 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Does Lego S@H have an internal communication problem??????

(...) I'd have to agree. The S@H reps have been consistantly the friendliest and most with it phone reps I've ever called. They will patiently try old set number after old set number to see if they might have gotten in something I've looked for. In (...) (26 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.lego)
